Beauty tips Hooded eyes are eyes where a fold of fat goes over the orbital bone and over your natural eyelid crease, pushing your eyelid crease down and making it appear smaller or even making it look like a monolid. It also hides the natural contours of your eye, making it hard to figure out where to apply eyeshadow. This tutorial is part of a blog post where I’ll explain the difficulties hooded eyes present and how you work around it, using simple makeup tips and tricks.

This isn’t an actual full tutorial from me – sorry! You may recognize this as a similar look I did in a previous tutorial. I wanted to use this video to explain how exactly I do makeup on hooded eyelids and why I do it; if you’re looking for a full makeup tutorial, I’ll have one up later this week. I decided to go with a really simple, easy to follow neutral makeup look, one that everyone can wear 🙂
Have a lovely day!
